- Coach House on the Cove vacation rental on Pender Island, BC in Canada. We stayed here for a week over the July 4th holiday. It’s a perfect, peaceful beachfront cottage with two decks overlooking the ocean, and a private beach.
- The Pender Canal Bridge is a one lane bridge that connects North and South Pender. This is the view from the private dock at the cottage.
- This bald eagle on the dock let me stay very close before it decided to fly away. We also saw otters, seals, minks, blue herons, and other wildlife.
- It was fun watching the variety of boats and kayakers passing by the property.
- Across the street from Coach House down a short trail, you see the other side of the bridge and watch boats passing from Bedwell Harbour.
- A group of kayakers preparing for their scenic adventure. Many people launch their kayaks from Mortimer Spit near the cottage.
- Blue heron bird standing on a rock during sunset. The view from our patio we enjoyed while celebrating our 6th anniversary. We will miss this slice of paradise! If you’re interested in staying at Coach House on the Cove, contact Jane and Dennis Perch at coachhouse.info.
