- Bear Affair at Woodland Park Zoo
- Grizzly bear brothers Keema and Denali show what happens at a campsite when humans don’t secure food and drinks.
- Keep all food and drinks tightly secured in bear proof containers. Wash camp dishes and secure all smellables and trash.
- “It’s exhausting tearing a cooler apart!” A bear’s sense of smell is 8 times stronger than a dog’s. They can smell food from 20 miles away.
- After bears consume human food they will continue to seek it, putting themselves and humans in danger. A fed bear is a dead bear.
- “Those coffee grounds were so good!”
- Do your part to protect and save our wildlife. Do not feed wild animals!
