A massive natural gas explosion shook Seattle’s Greenwood neighborhood this week injuring nine fire fighters, destroying three businesses, and damaging more than thirty others. The blast happened Wednesday around 1:40am and was heard miles from the site.

Plywood was put up over shattered windows of businesses affected by the blast
Hundreds of neighbors and volunteers helped clean up the damage on Saturday while artists painted the plywood to help brighten Greenwood Ave. and the community.
